Gold Star Peak, Inc. is dedicated to honoring and supporting Gold Star families and veterans. Founded in Alaska, our mission is to provide a place of healing and remembrance for those who have sacrificed for our nation. We organize events, offer resources, and create opportunities for families and veterans to connect and find solace. Our organization is built on the principles of respect, honor, and community, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Executive Summary
Since its founding in 2018, Gold Star Peak, Inc. has been steadfast in its mission to bring Veterans and Gold Star Families together in nature to honor the fallen and foster healing. Through outdoor adventures, community support, and advocacy, we’ve built a lasting impact on those who have sacrificed the most.
From 2019 to 2024, Gold Star Peak facilitated 148 adventures, assisted nearly 3,000 climbers, and climbed over 445,000 vertical feet. We have proudly awarded 24 scholarships to support the education and growth of Gold Star Family members and Veterans.
Our work extends beyond the mountains. Through service events and outreach, we have:
