Jeff Berg

 Non-voting Board Member

Jeff is a San Jose, California native and graduate of Del Mar High School. Jeff found his passion in architecture and the built environment, graduating from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He has been a licensed Architect for over 30 years working in the Civic, Education and Residential markets. As a life-long outdoorsman, he has been to many locations in the great state of Alaska.

Over the years, Jeff has volunteered and donated his time & expertise on numerous committees, professional organizations and nonprofit Boards. However, his most rewarding work has been in support of America’s military veterans, survivors and family. He has had the distinct honor of helping design and construct several military monuments. He continues to serve on the San Jose Vietnam War Memorial Foundation board of directors and care for the ‘Sons of San Jose’ Monument in downtown San Jose. They read all 142 ‘Sons’ aloud every March 30th.

We do not support or oppose any political candidate running for public office nor take a position on any political controversy, public or private. Federal regulations prohibit organizations like Gold Star Peak, Inc. from using any staff time or resources for partisan political purposes. This is a strict prohibition and any perceived violation could result in a costly investigation by the public, media, and/or IRS and could result in the possible revocation of Gold Star Peak, Inc. tax-exempt status. 

Personal political activities carried out by Gold Star Peak, Inc. personnel on their own time is permitted, however, no political activity carried out by any Gold Star Peak, Inc. officer or employee should be considered an endorsement by Gold Star Peak, Inc. proper.
