Chrystal McMillan was born and raised in the great state of Alaska. She has been teaching for several years with the Anchorage School District recently earning her Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning. Chrystal married Randy in July 2017 and together they hope to start a family soon. Until then, they are enjoying their first home and their two dogs, Maggie, a black retriever mix, and Stella, a black German Shepherd.

Chrystal’s brother, PFC Kevin McMillan, was killed in 2002 while serving in the Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She understands the unique struggles that family members and friends face when they lose someone close to them in the military. It was part of that struggle that brought Chrystal and her parents, Ken and Sue, in contact with Kirk and Gold Star Peak, Inc.. Chrystal and her dad made it to the top of Gold Star Peak and discovered the support and healing that Mother Nature, Kirk, and his amazing team had to offer.

She is looking forward to living life to its fullest and supporting others through Gold Star Peak, Inc.
