Our team couldn’t be more honored by the media coverage we’ve received for the work we do.

From TV, newspapers, magazine articles, radio, and social media, they all have wonderfully covered our work and the impacts it’s had on those we serve, we truly are humbled.

Recently, a Gold Star spouse traveled from Kentucky with her husband and close friends to climb and honor her fallen husband.   It was amazing to hear that she found out about us through social media.  COVID initially delayed her original visit in 2019, but ultimately, we were able to reschedule her climb for this summer.

As we already mentioned in a previous post, we had a wonderful time spent with these amazing people that all came to honor the sacrifice of her fallen husband, USMC Cpl Nicholas J. Dieruf.

Once home in Kentucky, not one, but two news stations connected with her and ran stories about their trip to Alaska.  This is the first for us and we’re just so very honored that despite the many miles and states between us, the impacts of our work is being recognized and shared by others, it truly warms our heart to see our mission shared across our great nation.

Take a look at the stories:
